Aquador 400 HT ends the design project of creating a brand new Auador model range sparked by Raimo Soninen back in 2017. Aiming at maintaining the Aquador DNA and updating functionality and onboard features to the level of expectations any experienced boater would wish for in this segment. Functionality, safety, fuel efficiency, serviceability, compatible with future technology and long lasting build quality. Will give first time owners as well as future owners to come a vessel to explore their favourit cruising grounds and beyond. My dream boat actually (Karl)!
The boat has been designed to comfortably accommodate 4-6 people on long range cruising. Keeping in mind to also function as a platform for sociable days on the water with family and friends. The boat has several areas to hang out on. Starting on the fwd deck with a comfortable lounge on the fwd deck with two generous sunbeds with a flip up backrest and a hidden fold-up table in between for drinks and snacks. On the aft deck there is the option of a L-lounge linking the water and the boat together to create the ideal place to enjoy the sun or a beautiful sunset after a nice day on the water. The other option is a raised sunbed when you choose to have a tender garage for a small RIB or opting for the outboard option to conceal them completely.
In the cockpit there is room to seat 8-10 people around a large table. Serving them from the stretched pantry unit designed to store and bring with you all you need to cook up any meal you would like. The aft end of the sofa seats 4-5 people able to enjoy a clear view of the tv which electrically rise up from the backrest at the fwd end of the cockpit sofa.
Fwd of this we have the pilot position designed for safe and comfortable cruising. The dashboard is designed for easy access to all functions laid out to intuitively be where you expect them to be. The top panel of the dashboard lifts up to reveal a storage space for sunglasses, mobile phones and a sketchbook in case you need to sketch up some new ideas. This storage tray lifts out to give access to the back of your chart plotters and other electrical equipment. Seating arrangements give a sociable cruising experience for three, with additional two seats in the portside fwd lounge.
This portside lounge can also be converted into a chaise lounge to enjoy your morning coffee and enjoying a 360 degree view of your surroundings. The complete cockpit is sheltered by a HT and pull out canopy solution making it easy to close up when needed. On warm sunny days the HT opens at the front and aft with electric glass hatches and sliding side windows connecting the inside with the outside.
Down below there is sleeping for 6. Two mid cabins with the stb cabin thought to be the owner’s sleeping area. The fwd bed is a comfortable daybed to hang out while still enjoying the views of the archipelago outside or enjoying your own movie theatre with the family.
For long range cruising and to make the transition from a Aquador 300 HT feel like an upgrade. We’ve designed the bathroom in a similar style and layout with an additional feature of an enclosed shower compartment large and comfortable giving it the complete feeling of a home away from home.
